How to mirror your android screen to Windows 11?



Screen mirroring is a cool thing that is very helpful for presenting small screens to bigger ones. But choosing the best software which can perform screen mirroring for free is hard, even if they provide free mirroring service, the mirrored screen may cause lagging, and blur, and not be suitable for use.


So here is the tutorial on how you can mirror your android screen to your laptop for free without using external software. Windows provides you with inbuilt software called Wireless Display that you can use for free. Here is how you can set it up:


1. This feature is available for different versions of windows including Windows 10 and Windows 11. This software comes already installed in windows 10, however, you have to install it manually in windows 11.


2. Installation

Installing Wireless Display is easy. Simply follow these steps,

  1. Go to the windows icon.

  2. Go to settings.

  3. Go to project to this PC.



4. Click view features.



5. Search for 'Wireless Display".

6. Click Install

Now, Wireless Display will get installed on your computer.


3. Usage

After installing the wireless display on your computer simply open the application. You can see the following screen on your computer.


Sagittarius A is the name of the computer you are using. This window means now your device is ready for mirroring.


4. Connection

Now you have to connect your mobile device to your PC. For this follow these options.

  1. Go to settings.

  2. Search 'Wireless Display' or 'Cast' or 'Mirroring'. (The name may vary for different devices.)

  3. Click on the available option.

  4. Now your android will start scanning the nearest device.

  5. Remember to connect your mobile device and PC to the same wifi network.

  6. Click on your PC name.

5. Mirroring

Shortly your phone and PC will get connected and mirroring will start.
